For more privacy or limited sunlight exposure, lower the blind and slightly open the slats.  The narrower slats of the mini blind allow for the greatest light adjustment possible.

Vertical Blinds

If you have a large window or door and want to have the light and privacy control that other types of blinds allow, choose vertical blinds. They are the best option for bay windows, patio doors, and French doors. Unlike horizontal blinds, vertical blinds hold firm in strong winds and are less likely to gather dirt.
